Raksha Bandhan or simply 'rakhi' is a hindu festival on which a sister ties a rakhi(sacred thread) on her brother's wrist with a prayer for his prosperity and happiness.This symbolizes the sister's love. The brother gives her a token gift and a promise to protect her.

1) Kaftan - I personally think that festivals are a chance to make a change in our clothing a little bit from what we usually wear. So while nowadays our wardrobe is full of western apparels,  a kaftan which is basically a bit of both Indian and Western styles will be awesome an outfit. You can team it up with almost any type of bottoms like jeggings, leggings, plazzo or even dhoti pyjamas which are trending these days. 

Printed flowy or pastle kaftans look elegant with pom pom earrings. Plus pom-pom footwears will make you look simply amazing because trending means you need to try it.. isn't it? 

2) Kurtas- Basically an oversized one. Rose -goldy pyjamas look awesome as a pair to oversized kurtas specially mehroon and dark green kurtas. Again you can wear it with a plazzo for a whole simple yet bold look.
